The team tested 87 UPS products for erectile dysfunction, and 70% contained active ingredients. For these "dietary supplements", there are three molecules of known drugs: the molecule of sildenafil (Viagra), one of tadalafil (Cialis) that vardenafil (Levitra). It has nutritional supplements that contain one of these three products, "and that should not contain them, they are sold as natural products," says Myriam Malet-Martino, but there are also pills or capsules that contain of "like" is to say very similar molecules of these products, but different. "The problem, says Myriam Malet-Martino, is that those products have never been tested on humans, have not been subject to any authorization on the market! We have absolutely no idea if they can have toxic side effects ... " "Especially for some dietary supplements, two" similar "mixed! And then we do not know either the risk of potentiation between molecules, "adds Stéphane Balayssac, lecturer. And there are problems especially in the assays, especially for like. These products have anyway impact on the cardiovascular system. With some, it is a big leap into the unknown!

Cialis (tadalafil) may help reduce symptoms caused by enlarged prostates

New research shows that anti-mpotence drug Cialis (tadalafil) may help reduce trouble urinating and some other symptoms caused by enlarged prostates.
The journal Urology reported that men taking tadalafil (brand name Cialis) every day had fewer symptoms, such as intermittence, urinary frequency, urgency, straining, incomplete emptying or a weak urinary stream. 50 % of men over 50 suffer from different symptoms caused by enlarged prostates.
More than 1,000 men with enlarged prostates were tested by Lilly Research Laboratories, the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas and Northwestern University in Chicago.
Some men was given Cialis, some of them got a placebo. Men who got Cialis reported their symptoms had improved and dose of 5 mg a day was enough, reported the researchers.
Cialis caused relatively few side effects in contrast to the drugs now used to treat symptoms caused by enlarged prostates. They are effective, but produce unpleasant side effects such as hypotension (low blood pressure), dizziness and sexual dysfunction.
